Robotics Seminar Series. Ninth Session – 21th August 2020, 13:00-14:00, via zoom. Link to event: https://aalto.zoom.us/j/62124942899

Abstract:

The continuing evolution of automotive technology aims to deliver even greater safety benefits and automated driving systems (ADS). Simulation allows for checking the behavior of autonomous vehicles in a huge number of scenarios, environments, system configurations, and characteristics. It will help focus on the necessary proving ground tests to verify the desired behavior and validating the measurements. In this seminar, we will discuss the different scenarios we conducted in Carla Simulator and discuss the results of the behavioral decision taken by the ego Vehicle. Also in the Second part of the seminar, I will present the high-level controller that is designed based on Reinforcement learning techniques which are still work in progress.
